With a capacity of 24 or 53 and equipped with WiFi, the AC or Non AC tram runs multiple rides daily to the north and south of the city. Each ticket costs includes snacks. This is India’s only electric Tram service and dates back to the colonial times. Trams are still plying in Kolkata and a fixture of this mega city even after 133 year old Calcutta Tramways Company.
