Privately owned and established in 1992; as a boutique DMC we provide personalised service to match the needs of the most discerning traveller looking for excellence. The company founders William Ma aka Ma Qingqiang and Reenchen Ma have travelled extensively in South Asia and bring their considerable experience in the travel industry.
William has co-ordinated field visits in book writing projects of Berlitz Guide to Nepal – author Ashvin Gatha, Journey to Nepal – author Mohammed Amin and Spectrum Guide to Nepal. He has featured in Pearl T.V. Hong Kong program, handling ground logistics of feature films and documentaries. He has been an executive member of Hotel Association of Nepal H.A.N. and Advisory Committee member of Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal T.A.A.N. He has trekked to Everest Base Camp and several trails on the Annapurna foothills in Nepal, Phobjika and Tang valley in Bhutan.
In the social field, William Ma is an active Rotarian of Rotary International District 3292 Nepal & Bhutan and joined the organisation in the Rotary Year 1993-94. He has served in all capacities at the District level and served as District Chair for “DEI Diversity, Equity & Inclusion” Committee and District Administrative Council member for Rotary Year 2023 – 2024. He is currently The Rotary Foundation Chair for Rotary Club Kathmandu Midtown 2025 – 2026. He is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Kathmandu Midtown and has organised and participated in health camps, education and women’s empowerment projects, senior citizens welfare, conferences, medical missions, training programs, support to children of vulnerable groups, golfing and walking fellowships. In the aftermath of Nepal’s devastating earthquake on 25 April 2015, he was part of a group providing shelter, building tools and training program for reconstruction of temporary shelters and earthquake resistent homes. Reenchen’s interest in social work, universal educational support and organising programs compliments their set goals. Both actively continue in this immensely gratifying journey of engaging in social and community works.
Our company brand name Asian Bhrikuti Holidays is inspired by the reincarnate Goddess and deity of compassion Bhrikuti – “The Green Tara”. The legendary Nepali princess consort of Tibetan King Tsong San Gampo is known to have introduced Buddhism to that part of the world. Revered as Bodhisatva of Enlightened Activity “Bhrikuti” inspires us to set the highest standards of travel service in the company.
